Reassembly of species interaction networks

Open Positions

Here we announce several open positions for PhD students hosted in Germany or Ecuador and one postdoctoral position. Most positions will start on November 1st 2021 and are funded for four years. The deadlines for applications range from June 15th – July 1st 2021 (see individual announcements), although later applications may be accepted until the positions are filled – we will indicate on this webpage if no further applications are requested. Applications from any country are welcome. MSc degree or equivalent is required – in Biology, Ecology, Conservation or related areas, including Physics (see SP 1). You may apply for several positions; if you do so, please indicate this in your cover letter. For all candidates (except in SP 1), field work experience in remote areas such as tropical forests and good physical conditions are desirable in addition to scientific qualifications and good writing and communication skills in English. Spanish is useful, German language proficiency not required.
